Most of the frames are simple varnished boards, showing about 1/4" around the image and having a depth of about 1 1/2". I have been experimenting with more elaborate commercial frames, too. Some of the driftwood pieces seem to need something more formal!

The Other Side of Seeing
Electromagnetic energy spreads from mile-long radio waves to frantic little gamma rays. The visible light that we notice is just a little blip somewhere near the middle of that vast rainbow.
If we lived at the pace of rocks, we’d see the slow swings of eons, mountains rising and stars jostling for North Star position. If we lived at the level of diatoms we’d struggle with Brownian motion as individual water molecules danced and shoved.
I'm neither rock nor diatom but sometimes I see where the edges are, the places where if things were slightly different, everything would shine newly wondrous.
What you can see is always more than what you do see. What I hope to show you is that there’s more there. It’s just on the other side of seeing.
